Continuous evolution
1952 – Business idea: meeting the demand for injection bottles for the pharmaceutical industry, sector in which the owner’s family has always been operating.
I.M.P. S.p.A. has been established in Vicenza.
1967 – Diversification: the technological development and a growing demand for blown and decorated bottles create an opportunity I.M.P. can’t ignore, signing without hesitation important supply contracts with multinationals in the cosmetic and detergent sector. The factory is moved to Altavilla Vicentina, its present location.
1983 - Vertical integration of production: the departments for chemical production and liquid product packaging are set up.
1995 – Extension of the service level: an integrated logistic platform is proposed to cut down handling and transfer costs. Extension of 12,800 sq.m. mainly for warehouses.
2001 – Organization and Quality System Management: the company has been pursuing the continuous improvement of the organizational and system efficiency and the formalization of the activities. During the year, I.M.P. is certified UNI EN ISO 9001.
2004 – Expansion: the first foreign joint venture (Spain) starts, aiming at strengthening the already consolidated relationships with multinational customers.
20...All these strategies have always been followed by a period of sharpening, constant growth and consolidation.
